What does the perfect laptop look like?
HP has seriously thought about how the perfect modern laptop should look like. As a result, they got an extremely interesting ultrabook in a thin and light body that can transform into a tablet.
With a flick of the wrist, the pants turn
The laptop's 13-inch touchscreen display is based on a super-high-quality UWVA matrix (1920x1080 resolution) and boasts perfect viewing angles, rich colours and high contrast. All this is protected by the notorious Gorilla Glass, which has proven itself well in the world of smartphones and tablets.
Powerful iron with a silent cooling system
The aluminium body looks minimalist in a good way, and only the HP logo on the lid reminds of a rich pedigree. It looks and feels 100% premium. Inside the case, we will see a four-threaded Core i5 processor of the Intel Kaby Lake family (operating frequencies 2.8 GHz — 3.9 GHz), 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a high-speed 512 GB SSD drive. As you can see, the filling is performant, but not quite balanced. Still, a chip for 4 cores would not be superfluous. But as a bonus, the user receives a completely silent cooling system.
A thousand little things
Other goodies include Bang & Olufsen branded acoustics, a spill-resistant keyboard, and a full security package that includes a fingerprint scanner, a face scanner, a kensington lock, and a TPM security module.
The strengths of this transformer are impressive battery life and support for fast charging. According to the passport HP promises up to 16.5 hours of work.
Against the background of all this, the main disadvantage is the price 2 times higher than the average business ultrabook. Even with the excellent touchscreen display and the ability to turn into a tablet, the $2,000+ price tag seems overpriced.

Вообще жена всеми правдами и неправдами склоняла меня к покупке МакБука Про, но я все же удержался. Во-первых МакБук тупо дороже, а во вторых переходить на другую операционную систему только потому, что жене очень понравился ноутбук ее лучшей подруги, мне как-то не улыбалось. У меня есть кое-какой привычный софт для работы с мультимедиа и переучиваться не хотелось вообще. И на ощупь, и по характеристикам, и по внешнему виду это 100%-ный премиум класс. Ноут, а точнее ультрабук действительно крутой и как минимум половину его крутости обеспечивает экран-трансформер, панель которого откидывается на 360 градусов, превращая обычный мобильный компьютер в самый настоящий планшет. Нужно добавить, что экран тут не простой, а сенсорный и сделан на базе сверхкачественной UWVA-матрицы, с идеально-широкими углами комфортного обзора. Защита экрана - стекло Gorilla Glass, а уровнем яркости управляет автоматическая система, аналогичная смартфонной. Короче, выглядит экран ничуть не хуже Retina Display от Apple. Остальное железо полностью соответствует высокому статусу этой модели, предустановленная операционная система Windows 10 Pro и любой софт буквально летают. У ноута удобная островная клавиатура с коротким ходом клавиш и полной защитой от заливания. Есть три высокоскоростных USB 3.1 интерфейса и супербыстрый wi-fi адаптер стандарта 802.11ас. На самом высоком уровне и безопасность устройства. Имеется дактилоскопический сканер и функций Face ID. 13,3 дюймовый экран остается красивым до тех пор, пока в него не начинают тыкать пальцами. Да пальцы вытираются, тут даже есть какое-то подобие олеофобного покрытия, но эстетика от этих отпечатков страдает сильно. Так же могу сказать, что ожидал большего от встроенной двухканальной акустики Bang & Olufsen. Имя громкое, а разницы с обычным средним классом почти нет. |
