Compactness and simplicity
The washing machine of the Swedish company Electrolux is positioned as the best solution for a small room. With medium dimensions in depth (51.5 cm), it is characterized by a small height and width: 67 and 50 cm, respectively, so it can easily fit under a washbasin or in other low niches.
Electrolux EWC1150 provides simple mechanical control. Traditional buttons and a rotary programme selector are complemented by a spin speed selection lever (from 500 to 1100 rpm, plus its complete shutdown).
3 kg and 15 programs
The model has acquired 15 programs. Among them there are 4 cycles for cotton, a mode for synthetics, mixed and delicate fabrics, wool (at 40 degrees). In addition to a separate express programme, the Quick Wash function is available as an option. It reduces the standard time by at least 10 minutes and is perfect for lightly soiled items. From other settings, a delay start of 3 or 6 hours, pre-wash and extra rinse are offered.
If a capacity of 3 kg of cotton, taking into account the compactness of the washing machine, is the norm, then the washing class B still belongs to the minuses. Either special selectivity will be required when buying detergents, or extra measures to remove strong contaminants.
